TxtCam is a local tech start up that is comprised of a group of makers, thinkers, programmers, and developers. They have been fine tuning their social marketing tool which takes pictures of you at various event or landmark locations outfitted with their system via text message and then sends your photo directly to your phone. Brilliant! Nobody will ever be left out of the picture or be stuck behind the camera again.
These guys are very passionate about the solutions that they offer and have catered to events (corporate and private, they also have their first "Fixed" mounted solution located in downtown Augusta, GA at the James Brown statue. Simply walk up to James, text the code to the number on the sign, wait for the light to turn solid, pose, and BAM! your picture is taken and then sent to your phone via SMS.
TxtCam is a great group of tech entrepreneurs in the CSRA. They devote time to teach kids with aspiring tech goals how things work and even help them on their own projects. I was truly honored to be considered for this project and wish them all of the greatest success their technology can bring. The TxtCam website was created on the popular Bootstrap framework. It is of course mobile friendly and offers features that describe their solutions and it ties in to their administrative software for their customers.
